Titans Fall Just Short of Championship!

In their first tournament of the season, the Titans 12U Boys Black team fell just short of capturing a championship at the Hardwood Palace in Rocklin. On the first day of the tournament, the boys battled and eventually fell short in overtime by 2 in what was one of the most exciting and competitive games played at this tournament. Trailing by 2 late with only seconds in regulation, the Titans hit a last second shot to send the game into overtime in what continued to be a back and forth affair. The boys battled despite a free throw disparity of 28-12. On the second day of the tournament against strong competition, the boys went 2-0 with an average margin of victory of 25 points. The Titans took second in a very exciting weekend of basketball. The Titans were led by Coach Khaled Taqi-Eddin and Coach Charles Hurtado.
